Ethics & ComplianceEach of us shares the responsibility for helping make our University System and Columbus State University among the best in higher education and we all agree that one of the most critical challenges we face is to be certain that all of us act in a safe, ethical and legal fashion as we discharge our responsibilities each day. To address this issue the University System and Columbus State have implemented a program called “Doing What’s Right.” Inappropriate actions should be reported to supervisors and other persons of authority on our campus. We encourage employees to share any concerns with their immediate supervisor, their department head, or appropriate vice president. If employees are not comfortable speaking to those within their division, they may contact Human Resources for further assistance. Employees who are not comfortable with the above options may call The Network, an independent company that provides hotline services for organizations worldwide. The Network is confidential and user friendly. Simply call 877-516-3424, toll free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This service is not intended as a substitute for speaking directly with supervisors or other personnel, but is an option that is available.
